About Sabiá

Sabiá, derived from the Tupí Guaraní indigenous language, translates to “one who prays a lot,” symbolizing the enchanting voice of the orange thrush bird.

“Legend has it that a child blessed with this song during spring mornings, receives love, happiness, and peace. Additionally, Sabiá translates to “know” or “understand” in Portuguese.

To me, Sabiá means sharing the good news. Many people in Brazil believe that when one hears the Sabiá singing, good news and knowledge are on the way.”

Foundation

  • Our mission is to create a nurturing space in nature where we can learn new practices, embody knowledge, and leave with tools for your ongoing learning journey.

Our vision is living in a world where people are in touch with nature, and care about being in touch with the wisdom within their bodies and emotions. As we can connect within, we can connect deeper to each other and all of nature.

  • We deeply honor indigenous teachings and offer 1% of our proceeds to directly support the Kuntanawa nation in the Brazilian rainforest.

  • We reject the notion of brokenness perpetuated by much of the wellness industry.

Instead, we believe that everyone simply lacks the right knowledge and tools to embody their full potential.
